Hosted out of Cleveland High School in Portland, OR, the Pigmice are excited to participate in their first year of the FIRST Robotics Competition. The team was created in 2004 by eight 4th grade boys. Since then, they have become the 2006 FLL World Festival Champions, a highly ranked FTC team, and a promising new FRC rookie team. For a more complete history, go to the Pigmice History pages.

FIRST (which stands for "For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology") is a program created by inventor Dean Kamen to support science and technology in the new generations. FIRST has created three different programs: FIRST Lego League, FIRST Tech Challenge, and FIRST Robotics Competition. For more information about FIRST, its many programs, and how to become involved, check out the official FIRST website.

We won two awards at the Pacific Northwest regional tournament! The Autodesk Visualization award for the Geckro animation (thanks to Grant and Stefan) and the Rookie Inspiration award. Congratulations, Pigmice!
